7th Ed. Help - Slann magic lists

Hi,

I haven't been able to find an answer yet:

In the Lizardman book it states that Slann can choose from any Magic Lore. Does that mean additional lores which have been added separately, such as in White Dwarf or another Army book? Could my Slann be raising skeletons with the spells added for Heinrich Kemmler?

no.

They can choose from any of the eight lores provided by in the BRB.

why don't lizardmen have there own spell list? there supost to be one of the most powerful magic armies according to the book

I think their magic mastery is shown by their being able to take any lore they want...although empire can do that too...sucky deal. A lizardmen specific lore would be saweet

Well, technically they can cast from multiple lists in the same battle (unlike the Empire wizards who are stuck with their single lore) and they get something like 5 different spells to choose from those lores. So you can essentially tailor your list to whatever you're fighting, be it heavy in a specific lore (like say Metal against Brettonians) or a wide variety (like the machine gun Slann build that takes several versions of the magic missile spell).
