For a long time, my Lizardmen itch has been VERY annoying as I’ve been unable to play for quite a while.
However, I have a game of TOW on Tuesday next week (2nd April).
Not played TOW before and have no idea what’s effective or utter rubbish.
Any help/pointers greatly appreciated fellow cold bloods.
Probably 2k point game.
I can field plenty of saurus warriors, 30 skinks, c30 temple guard, 15 cold one riders, 6 chameleon skinks, 6 salamanders, 2 stegs, 6 terradons/rippers, a Bastilodon, 1 carnosaur.
I think that’s it.

Different players obviously have different opinions, but you can find a lot of discussion on the relative strengths of different units here:

From your models, I would suggest a carnosaur general, 3 units of skinks, 18-ish saurus, 18-ish temple guard (w/frenzy banner), 2 stegs, and the bastilodon as a starting point. You probably want to fill any remaining points with characters if you can.

I wouldn’t probably play temple guards without a Slann (one unit infantry is enough with soo many monsters). Terradons could be good if you know that the other play will have skirmisher or war machines
