AoS Help against cheesy demons..

Got my ass kicked real good by my so called friend tonight..
He was playing a 1500p list containing 2 skaven canons, 1 khorne bloodthirster, bloodcrushers etc.
Any ideas on how to match it?

Shadowstrike with chameleons to take care of the cannons. The bloodthirsters are tough but should. Maybe a bloodclaw with knights. Or go for a Thunderquake with a jade battlemage and dual bastiladons. None of these are guaranteed, but the cannons are annoying, and the rest are tough, so don't try to match savagery, try to outsmart the opponent.

Thunderquake with dual basti, engine, slann sounds cool, but how about taking points? what kind of battleline should I take? the guards arent that fast..

Avoid guards, they are slow and costly. Use chama skinks to deal w cannon crews and pop on objectives, and at that point simply use basic units of 10x skinks as battleline.

Yeah chameleon skinks for the skaven cannons. Dual bastiladon/ jade battlemage does wonders against chsos demons.

Old blood on carno gets +2 to wound on chaos daemons with his sunbolt gauntlet. D6 attacks hitting on threes and wounding on 2+ with rend is pretty mean. And that's just his range, if he's your general than you can use his command to add 2 attacks to your pin attempt, which increases the likelihood of a successful pin which gives you +2 to hit with your jaws with yours jaws. Then take chams and counter snipe all their cannons. Also once the cannons are gone, your chameleons deal damage 3 to chaos daemons if you roll any 6+ hits with their dartpipes

One question.. does the thunderquake work at 1500p? Hence the three behemoths?

Yes. At 1500 points you use the 2000 point tier in the generals handbook.
