Just got a shiny new stegadon (and relegated my 6th ed. metal monstrosity to the cupboard) and looking to play it as fast as possible! My next opportunity is in a friendly 1600pt match-up between Lizzies, High Elves and Undead. It's been hard to squeeze both a stegadon AND a slann into so few points but I'm happy with what I've come up with! If it works, it should cause no end of trouble to my opponent... if it doesnt, I could conceivably lose on Turn 1!
L: Slann - BSB, Focus, Mystery, Cupped Hands
C: 25 Saurus - mus, stan
C: 10 Skirmishers
C: 10 Skirmishers
S: 20 Temple Guard - FC
S: 5 Chameleons
R: A. Stegadon
R: Salamander - extra snack
I have been really struggling to choose a lore for my slann. Against those opponents, Light would be a great choice. Getting my Lizzies up to In10 would really help to stop devastating super-spells and HE re-rolls. However, Life is always a solid choice and with my steg in there the extra wounds would keep it in the game much longer! What do you recon?
