8th Ed. GW Website Down

Well apparently Games Workshop has taken their website down for maintenance in the middle of the day which is kind of weird. It's possible we're going to finally see a hint or SOMETHING changing on the Fantasy page to give some insight into what the hell will be going on this month and leading into the end of April and May.

So keep your eyes peeled on their website this evening, it is quite possible they may finally be stepping out of the shadows....or maybe they just are doing maintenance at a weird time that for whatever reason caused them to shut down their website.

What time did you first notice it down? It was about 11:30PM (GMT) when I saw your post. They might have pulled it down after close of business on Tuesday, GMT, London Time.

The site is back up.

And it is about 7AM in London...? No, 8AM looks like they're doing daylight savings rubbish.

So, it was down 10 - 12 hours. Overnight as reckoned by British Summer Time.

I didn't think there was going to be any 9th edition stuff. The fantasy box set is rumoured to go up for pre-order on April 24th.

As pendrake mention, from the time of posting the site went down overnight UK time.

So while it means it is during the morning/day another place in the world, it still make sense to do it then if UK is where they make the most sales.
