Greetings everyone,
My twin brother and I used to admire Warhammer models from afar way back in Middle school. We eventually convinced our dad to get us each an army book (Lizardmen for me, High Elves for my brother) and we each got a couple models to paint, but we never actually played any real matches. Fast forward two decades, we played a lot of Total War: Warhammer I & II in the last couple of years which re-introduced us to the Warhammer world, and this last year my brother finally convinced me to get into Age of Sigmar. I acquired a decent number of Seraphon models and after half a year of assembling them we plan to have our first match at the end of September. I'll be posting my potential army lists in the next couple of days and would appreciate any feedback
Beyond Warhammer, I am a college professor who specializes in the Middle East, Islam, and Arabic. I admit that I am a little sad that there is no real Khemri equivalent in AoS (I'm a sucker for the Ancient Egyptian aesthetic), but the Seraphon's use of wizard-lizards and massive dinosaurs is pretty BA too.
