But no ordinary Slann. Remember a while back I made a thread asking if anyone knew where I could get a Forgeworld Slann? Well I managed to find a seller and it showed up today. :D

The thing is actually a bit bigger than the normal Slann, and much cooler in person than in the pictures online. I made a size comparison pic below:

He will fit on a normal palanquin, but only if the skink handler is removed.. I am considering making him one from scratch, but have no idea how I would go about doing that. Has anyone made or seen any custom ones?

What about trying to make a Mazdamundi? You've probably thought about that though, but I think that could be a cool model! Can't provide any pro tips though.. good luck!

I would use the skink priest model holding the staff and replace the staff with a big palm leaf so it looks like he is being fanned.

He would make a great model for Mazadumi or whatever his name is, just put him on a modified stegadon

Put some skink on a chain near him.. he keeps reminding me of Jabba the Hutt.. Still thinking to convert a Slann to an E.T. model.. if i only got the skill..

But Gratz on the model.. its still a very cool one.

Somehow I envision his other arm, once attached, will be holding up its middle finger. Not sure why, but can't get that out of my head.

I cannot find myself liking Mazdumandi, a Slann on a stegadon is just a touch over the top. And in general I tend to lean away from special characters, I prefer to make my own. I guess it would be cool if I could make him able to get on a palanquin as well for when I wanted a normal Slann, magnetise him maybe. I can't imagine ever using Mazdumundi though..

That name always reminds me of my Protege...

Stewart: I agree I don't play with special characters either, I find them cheesy. Though I'd love the option to have a Kroxigor hero.

Not neccesarily a kroxigor special character, but a krox character choice would be great. At the moment we have 2 lord choices, which I guess is around average, but a hero krox to maybe make one straight krox unit core would be a cool addition. I guess it would be complicated with magic items and such.

obviously a 2nd gen slann :D
being large and more itimidating than its 5th gen cousin by the side,

were did you manage to find it? and did he/they/she have anymore?

Oh yes, he will be the more powerful Slann definitely. There was a seller on warseer that parted with it for 50 pounds including postage. I have since seen one on ebay for 50 pounds that didn't sell, warseer or ebay is probably the best place to look.

I am considering a palanquin made out of pure energy, so lightning all over it. I'm not quite sure how I would go about making it though.
