Ok guys, I have in my possession 20saurus with hand weapons 2x 10 skinks with javelins, a priest and three chameleon skinks, full stop!

I want to take the army to 1k points and i am looking at suggestions to get to there, i do in the end wish to run 2x Bastis with ark of Sotek and swarms with multiple saurus, but i am pretty open to everything else! But the Bastis can come later on if necessary.

So thoughts, suggestions,comments, remember i don't bite, so long as you keep your distance anyway!

At least one salamander is a must for me.

Also, at the lower point games like 1000, I find the Cold One Cavalry are a bunch of fun to play. I run a Scar Vet on Cold One with a Unit of 5 CoC. Maybe a Skink Priest thrown in for good measure?

Buy 3 extra chameleons so that you can field a unit.

Buy a pack of cold one cavalry, make: 1 who looks like he has a great weapon as your oldblood/scar-vet, one who is cool looking with hand weapon and shield as champion/scar-vet, 2 banners 1 as your banner, 1 as your BSB for 1500 point games. Finally 4 regular COC.

Saurus old blood, cold one, great weapon, light armour, talisman of preservation, crown of command.

Skink priest (beast), level 2, dispell scroll.

20 saurus warriors.

2 x 10 skirmishers with javalins.

5 cold one cavalry, full command.

6 chameleon skinks.

If you have any love in your heart for the cold ones, and dont mind calling a cold one rider with extra bits a hero/lord, then i really recommend you buy it.

For the 1500 just add 2 x 1 salamanders, a bastiladon and the mounted BSB you made from the cold ones.
