Gratz on the win! What was the prize? And what other goodies did you get?

Thanks for the pics, and congratulations on the win!

... Whatever came first and managed to beat yours had better have been shooting rainbows out of its arse.

Edit: I just read the other thread, and now I understand. Wappellious does indeed have some absolutely amazing work! Big congratulations to both of you then, very cool to see two LM projects at the top! They are both very amazing very inspiring pieces!

It was great to see you at GamesDay, StrategicCommand! I, too, have several pics i'll be linking to the forums. If you dont' mind, to keep it all in one place, I'll just link them here.

Gratz!!

I had a blast last year. I wish I could have went this year. I simpathize with you on the voice. I lost mine for 4 days after last year's Game Day. I went home with about $150 worth of stuff last year. You did better than I did. You must have been louder!

Has it been announced where the next year's will be? If it is in Chicago, I may need to plan on attending. I wish I had this year.

Nice haul, I did't get any free stuff from Baltimore. :(

Thanks! Though I didn't win anything from yelling the Waaagh. Most of mine came from random die roll-offs (I won every time). Another came from a GW employee walking randomly around the Fantasy Big Game table and just was looking at the players. I finally had eye contact and yelled "Ive got Skaven yes I do. Iv'e got Skaven how 'bout you?!" (as I was playing Skaven vs. Tomb Kings) lol.. and he threw me the Skaven box. hehe

I won all mine in Baltimore from being the loudest one when they looked my direction. After that, I was able to catch models they were tossing into the crowd. My big haul was Skragg the Slaughterer (traded a box of HE phoenix guard that I won for him as I had just started playing Ogres), Dark elf lord (melkeith) on dragon, Wood elf dryads, and other odds and ends.

Sorry - forgot to answer your other question. I ended up talking to Josh from GW (he's the head-honcho recruit manager for new GW stores who also co-ran the Warhammer Fantasy Big Game at the convention.. actually.. talked a LOT and got an "in" with the guy in possible working for GW.. but that's another story). I asked him if GW knows where next GamesDay will be at for NA and suggested Chicago again as it's a more central area for people to get to than Baltimore. He said he agreed and was VERY impressed with Chicago and it's convention center and it fit well into what they want to do for GamesDay and will try to have it there every year.

On the GW blog today they have photos of some of the armies on parade entries, including the two awesome winning Lizardmen ones!
