8th Ed. Friendly 2000 pt noob list

Hello Old Ones,

I'm transitioning into Warhammer Fantasy from 40K and just started a Lizardmen army. Here is what I have sofar, I want to bring it to 2000 points while rounding it out. Please help!

Seconding the Slann. Use the remaining points to beef out the Saurus units - at 2000pts, you're going to be facing horde units that will walk over 18 Saurus.

I'm also generally not an advocate of Saurus cavalry, though I haven't run them often so have a look at some other threads to see what people think - IMHO, the points would be better spent on more Temple Guard and possibly Salamanders.

Finally, what's your plan for the Skink Chief? It looks like you're fielding him as a combat character, is he running with the Skirmishers? If so, I'd kit him out with either a blowpipe or javelins, as combat is the last place you want those skinks.

Other than that, this is the basis of a good list - remember to check out other threads for ideas
