8th Ed. Flying Saurus Oldblood @ 800 points

Hello.

I have a question: what would happen if you took a Saurus Oldblood on an Arabyan Carpet with Potion of Speed in an 800 competitve points game where no more than 25% is allowed for Lords/Heroes in total?

Do you think he would cause havoc or just get sniped and hand 300 VPs to the opposing player?

You can't have 2 enchanted items. Its pretty easy to avoid anything that can snipe him or have a small bunker to give him LoS but he costs 195 pts with carpet so you only have 5 pts to buy something with, which means no weapons or armor of any kind. In 900+ it could work but with in 800 points he can't afford any protection or even a great weapon.
