AoS First tournament list 2k

Hello Lustrians,


I'm entering my first mini tournament in a couple of weeks.


I've enjoyed playing a Firelance Starhost in smaller games and I have Gotrek.


I also like to be a bit heavy on the summoning.


So here's my idea for my list:

• Slann Starmaster 260
  • incandescent rectrices
• Gotrek Gurnisson 520
• Engine of the Gods 240
• Saurus Astrolith Bearer 160
• Skink Starpriest 80
• Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One 100
  • Betrayers crown
• 10x Saurus Knights 160
• 10x Saurus Knights 160
• 10x Saurus Knights 160
• Firelance Starhost 150

Altogether I got 1990/2000 points.


For summoning I have:

• 30 skinks
• 3 rippers
• 3 terradons
• 1 Bastiladon
• 10 saurus warriors
• 1 troglodon
• 1 old blood on Carnosaurus
• 1 scar vet on Carnosaurus

I'm gonna take Great rememberer so I can teleport things around and whit the charge bonus from FS and command ability from SVoCO I will get the charge most of the time and a lot of attacks from the cold ones.


If I need damage ill summon OBoC or Bastiladon and if I get summoning from EotG I have the skinks and terradons.


I hope Gotrek can put some damage out even tho has super slow.

I think you need some skinks in the mix to help screen against first alpha strike lists. I would consider removing the Astrolith for this. Since your Saurus Knights are likely to be riding off ahead of the Astrolith they are unlikely to benefit from his rerolling hits. His +1 casting and D3 summoning points probably aren't worth 160 points considering the max you can summon from him is 2 units of skinks if you role well. Why not start the game with them instead?
This would also free up 30 points for a prismatic pallisade (if you have the model) the slann teleporting basically means he can cast it anywhere on the board which can really mess up your opponents movement
