8th Ed. First 500 pts Ever. Need Advice

Hello!

I have my fisrt LM game scheduled in about 3 week. I need to put a list together and paint these models! It's my first ever game in a GW store, so they need to be based and painted.

With that said, there are limited choices I can use. I've never build a LM list, so if this is brutal, let me know.

Scar-Veteran: 106
- Great Weapon
- Enchanted Shield

20 Saurus Warriors: 250
- Full Command

10 Skink Skirmishers with javelin and Sheild: 80

5 Chameleon Skinks 60

I don't have a great selection of models right now. Basically I have a Batallion, extra box of Skinks, extra box of Saurus and a Stegadon. No Sallies, Krox, Slann, etc. This is an escalation league which will be good. I've already custom built and painted Gor-RoK to use as my general.

I can make a Skink Priest, if need be too.

Its a nice list. 20 saurus will rock pretty hard in this size gzme.

Just remember magic can have a big effect in a game this size. Dont under estimate what a good chain lightening can do to your opponents 3-4 units as well. But definetly play this for now. Aso dont undervalue a salamander in the near future. Thats kind of the direction id take your next 200pts priest and sally.


On a more long term focus. You have bought the right models. Id get 2x salamander asap and then if the budget can stretch 1 battalion and 1 slann which should make you fairly good to 2k pts.
