We are looking to see what we can do for elementals as part of the salamander army late next year.

We are looking to see what we can do for elementals as part of the salamander army late next year.

Is that meaning for all elementals? Or just the fire elementals for the salamanders? From my (embarrassingly) extensive searches for elementals (both for my Salamanders and Brotherhood), the most pressing dearth of elementals is water rather than fire. Reaper has usable medium and large fire elementals, so at least there is something out there; there is no company anywhere that sells appropriate standard water elementals! Reaper has a large water elemental, but their smaller offerings both look silly and are very expensive!

Water elementals are coming out with the trident realms in q1 next year. Fire elementals for the salamanders.

You could easily paint those red and orange and add accents to make them into Lava/fire elementals. They look stunning.

I agree, I don't like the armor too much... BUT if the armor was sculpted a bit to appear more pre-Columbian in origin, I think it would fit better into a lizardmen-ish army motif. Make it look like it was a magical device unleashed by the fire-magic skinks.

Also saw these two, maybe fitting better into a salamander motif? The second ones look smaller, almost like fire ghouls. (link 1, link 2).
