7th Ed. EoTG burning alignment question

ok i tryed to search forrum but didint found any answer so heres the question:
does Burning alignment couse flaming attacs?
i played with wood elfs and my mind came on this becouse hes treekins had regen but flaming attacks negates that but i was said that Burning alignment doesnt do flaming attacs.
so how is it does it couse flaming attacks? i think yes becouse its called Burning alignment.

The name of the ability really has no connection to the effect. You'd think it would cause flaming attacks, but it does not.

Though against forest spirits it does strength 5.

Yeah in 6th ed there would have been a strong case, but now there is actually a rule in the BRB called flaming and anything that counts as flaming must say 'flaming' in its special rules, which burning alignment does not. Think of it more as a magical beam of energy, because it does count as a magic attack. (Confirmed in the LM FAQ)

burning doesn't automatically imply fire, like "burning ambition" or "burning anger".
