The new rules from GW wad mildly said, a little disappointing for old veterans. They change quite a lot, though the overall rules are now free on their Web page.

Alternatively you can join up on the 9th age wave

The death of Fantasy is a really sad affair. I've totally lost all confidence in GW.

9th Age looks interesting, especially now that @Pinktaco is on board and representing our cold-blooded cause.

your best options are 9th Age or Kings of War from Mantic games. My gaming group went with Kings of War and are loving it
