So now that percentages are the comp guidelines my skaven buddy keeps blabbin about a unit of heroes. And I was thinking how cool itd be to have horned ones with cheifs on them running around but they cant and they would suck for the points, so then somebody said terradons are better, and that got me thinking why not a unit of terradon riding heroes?
Even though flying cavalry characters cant join units to form one of their own, cheifs can get around it by joining a unit of terradons. I think I'd rather have them join a unit of terradons anyway. 3 or 4 terradons and 3 or 4 cheifs joining the unit, either add hws or spears, or a magic weapon in there, can make that unit really hard hitting.
Too bad the FAQ says they cant drop rocks the turn they charge *tear* but thats still alotta rocks.
for 3 or 4 hundred points its like having a unit of Crisis suits with awesome sheild drones in WHFB
I wonder how to most effectively use them. What situations to avoid and what sort of targets they'd excel against, dropping rocks as well as on the charge
