AoS Double the attacks of a model with random number

If you double the attack value of a model with a random number of attacks.
Lets say you rolled 18 on a EotG and want to fire with a Razordon.
Do you double the result of the two dice or do you roll four dice?

Maybe it doesnt make much of a difference in this instance, but it will on a skaven ratling gun for example.

This happened at the aus champs, we checked with the TO from GW abs he confirmed it was double number of dice, so each razordon shot 4d6. That's the most official source I have, so I believe that is how it should be done

Good to have a confirmation, that's also how I do it.
And also the most logical way, too, at least in my opinion.

Yeah, when an ability (as EotG), doubles the number the attacks characteristic, an those attacks are determined by rolling a dice, you roll 2 dices
