Ive seen a similar concept list used to GREAT effect, bt with a death slaan and a block of saurus with scar-vet.

Basicially, nothing gets into comabt if it can help it, and runs around shooting you to pieces, with a little heavens magic thrown in to support. Cant deal with thinks like steamtanks, but i should be able to effectively ignore them.

Must say i like the idea but unless you are playing on a massive game board, movement will be restricted with so many units on the field. Not to mention you need to be within 12" to shoot the enemy, you are garunteed to get into CC with something.
 
You might want to consider the stegadon helm for some extra leadership.
 
I'd also be tempted to mould the 4x10 troop skinks into 2x20 strong units, with a chief in each with a priest tagging along to each to utilise the "look out sir" rule.
 
Didnt Bobo the Vampire Monkey (user from TWF) use similar list in UK Heat/ GT? He had 20sh saurus warriors and flying death slann, no ranked skinks.
 
Yes he did. He is the guy that used the list similar to this and fantasticaly with it, which is where i draw the concept of this list from. Obviously he is a far better player than me, and the lust will take A LOT of practice to work, but from seeing his list work its given me a little confidence that a themed army can work to an extent
 
But then again, Slanns Point was Flying carpet, so I think he's list wont be that usefull anymore
