The base doesn’t have anything to stick the flight stick into so how the heck does it hold the Slann up? Did I get a package missing s part? The top picture is a ripperdactyl rider base for reference of what I’m talking about

I had the same problem, but I just took my hobby drill, found the right size and drilled a hole in the middle of the base.

Exactly, you have to use a hobby drill if you want the standard GW base. You will also need some Greenstuff if you want the Throne to "sit straight" on the flying stick, as it is a bit uneven in most Slann models i built, or you take the flying stick upside down, with the bigger end on top it straightens itself out

Glad they are now made from resin, i remember my first ones made ouf metal, flying stick broke like a hundred times during games^^

Still have a couple of theese, hard to keep from breaking and balance in the first place

Yep, metal ones (mine all are) are not a pleasant thing.

I used a hot needle instead of a drill, has the added advantage that the two plastic bits can sorta melt together. But yes, it's a giant pain to get it to stick straight.

Brass rod painted black works for me
