Anyone else playing Borderlands 2? I recall falling behind in schoolwork when the first one came out. Now I have a day job so I don't have to worry about that! My wife actually enjoys playing this game with me, mainly due to it's silliness and the fact that she can play as a girl.

By boyfriend and I preordered it, and we played the bajeezus out of it (doing every single side mission) until we beat it almost a week ago.

I really loved how little was changed from the first game; only improvements were added. Good job Gearbox!

I did my playthough as Zero, and he played Salvador. I'll probably do my next single-player playthough as the Mecromancer, since I got her for free for the pre-order. :D

I also nearly cried in the game when a certain... someone very close to me from the first game died. That's what I really love about Borderlands. It doesn't take itself seriously, but it still manages to hit really hard.

I played as Zero the first time also, mainly cause I wanted to know what was so special about him. The Mechromancer is a neat class though. My wife has been having a ton of fun with her murderous robot!

I haven't ran across a sad part of the game yet, but I haven't beaten it yet either. I've been spending too much time trying out all the characters. I guess I'll have to brace for the ending.

Yeah... the part is only really sad if you played Mordecai in the first game.

D:

On a side note since this is a video game post, had anyone played dishonoured by bithesda? I really want this game and I'm wondering if it is worth buying?

I haven't played it yet, but I hear it's like playing Thief + Deus Ex + Assassin's Creed. All are great games, but some are currently collecting dust on my shelves for their lack of replayability.
