There were no giant monsters to really evaluate, so this time it is all expected number of kills.
Format is Target: Blade of Realities/Blade of Revered Tzunki/Sun Scimitar + Maiming Shield
Core:
Clanrats 3.05 2.78 3.70
Storm Vermin 2.92 2.78 2.96
Rat Swarm 0.79 0.56 0.89
Giant Rats 3.28 2.78 4.44
Giant Rat handlers 3.18 2.78 4.44
Night Runners 3.10 2.78 4.44
Clanrat slaves 3.32 2.78 4.44
Wind Globadiers 3.18 2.78 4.44
"Pearls before swine" is the term that comes to mind here. The 8 attack Oldblood cleans up against lightly armored, T3 infantry just like with the elves. The abyssmal skaven leadership allows the BoR kill number to get very close to his number of average hits (which is 3.33). Even the most well armored skaven, the storm vermin, take the most wounds from the high volume of attack OB. BoRT makes friends with his 2.78 kills again.
Special
Gutter Runners 3.01 2.78 4.44
Warplock Jezzails 3.18 2.78 4.44
Plague Monks 3.18 2.78 4.44
Rat Ogres 2.61 0.93 1.19
packmasters 3.18 2.78 4.44
I think for some of the skaven shooters, they always have to flee charges, so can't actually see combat. I guess they could always charge the OB, but I'm not too clear on that so I posted their numbers anyway. Nothing too surprising or different here, rat ogres being the closest thing to something worth sending the Blade of Realities after.
Rare
Plague Censer Bearers3.02 2.78 3.56
See above.. I didn't do any of the artillery because I don't think they can even charge, and if they can they likely never would anyway.
Another win for the Sun Scimitar. The one thing to mention as a caveat is that even the Skaven Warlord is only Ld 7, so no matter what defenses he's been given, the Blade of Realities will make short work of him or any other enemy character for that matter. Once again, the BoRT loses out here because all of its special effects are wasted on T3 lightly armored stuff. BoRT would be appropriate for handling enemy characters with lots of armor, but otherwise its potential is wasted against skaven.
So the same rule applies as always... first one to call out another army decides which one is next!
