They seem like number two plastic, but I don't know.

Anyone know?

I think that isn't possible with Polystyrene but I am not sure. I'll ask my brother, he knows such stuff.

Ok, I asked him, and he says it is indeed possible, so yeah, those are recyclable.
Recycling sprues... such a waste...

Reuse and re-purpose :p

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle in that order for good environmental custodianship.

What are you are proposing is reusing, which is one step better than recycling.

The log used to be a sprue. That's about as far as I got.

Perhaps @eron12 can post a picture of his gyrocopter made from an old pot of paint.

There are many ways to reuse or UP-cycle styrene sprue. ( :writing: Never throw it away...)
  • Ladders
  • Treasure (in the form of gold bars)
  • Rubble (chopped into short brick lengths)
  • Decking (for ships/aeronefs/ironclads)
  • Half-Timbers (on half timbered structures)
  • Industrial Metal Barstock
  • Railings

 Not quite sure how/why it is on Bretonnia’s Forum but it shows much use of sprues, and an example of a ladder.

Those Spruecrons are just brilliant/hilarious.

I have seen this before too, great looking Necron army ;)

I haven't found much of a use for the leftovers yet, but my brother has used it for movement trays in the past.

THAT is an impressive way to use old plastic sprues. :wideyed: I will have to revisit saving my old stuff for future Necromunda projects.

Sad we can't get straight to the Bretonnian Forum's articles without logging in anymore :(

Yeah, same here. Could you... uhmm... repost some of that stuff? I'd love to see it.

Breaking news: here is the LINK to where sir lord @Karak Norn Clansman has already posted it within the jungles of Lustria Online.

Tutorial was made by Bloodbeard. Well done sir! :pompus:

Oops. I forgot Bretonnia is kinda frozen in limbo. I knew KNC had posted that several places. Didn’t think to look here in the backyard..!
