8th Ed. Anyone try two Slann armies in the new book yet?

On one hand Slann are more expensive then before. On the other hand we have more discipline options and there isn't ready access to lore mastery. Telepathic Confabulation is tempting too.

I don't play enough high points games to try two Slann yet, but I plan to do so eventually. Has anyone beat me to this?

I tried it once but at 2500 points so it was two basic slann. I played against an empire army I ended up losing had bad winds rolls all but one turn not overly impressed the list.

Not yet, but I have a 10k game scheduled for February. We'll have two Lizardmen armies combined to take on 5k each of Dark Elves and Warriors of Chaos. A tough matchup where I feel we really need to get the edge in the magic phase.

I'm thinking Focus of Mystery on one and Wandering Deliberations on the other in order to start with 16 spells between the Slann.

I plan to bring Tetto Ekko as well, and I might even buy myself a Kroak for the occasion.
