AoS Another Start Collecting Question

First off hello everyone,
So I just bought my first start collecting box and intend to get my second after I get paid Friday my question is how should I build them for the best bang for my buck. I've already read through @Crowsfoot 's conversion guide and intend to do those but what about the rest of the set. I've only built the Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur so far though I can't decide on what weapon to give him.
