7th Ed. against TK army 2250 pt !!HELP!!

OK baisicaly he won the turnament in our country (lithunia) bsicaly it was a 12-14 people turnament (we have very few players in Lithunia, but the hobby is addicts is growing fast).
I wasnt able to play in that tournament becouse i dont have fully painted army.

i have few options for the list, its old + carno or slann.

option No. 1:

oldblood + carno + light armor + amulet of itzl + maiming shield + sword of might (+1S) + bane head

Skink chief + a stegadon + warspear

Scar-vet + Cold one + light armor + shield of mirower pools + sword of battle (+1A)

On one of your EOTG, drop the plaque of tepok and take the amulet of itzl (essentially giving you're priest an extra wound).

Definitely go with the magic heavy army. Otherwise, he will use his TK magic to turn you into a pin cushion (TK is a very shoot army). If you have an additional salamander, put it in there somewhere as all of his army is flammable.

You're primary target in his army is the Hierophant (not sure if that is the name) or his casket of souls. Take those out and you are good as gold. His army will literally crumble after you drop the Hierophant.

On the Slann, take cupped hands of the old ones to offset any miscasts to his caster. Also, take a lore that does fire damage. Or even the lore of life (can kill shooting attacks as well as has attacks that will damage models near or on a hill (I believe that the Undead strikes are STR 5 hits).


Remember, take out his hierophant! that is your main goal.

thank you for your coment i will take lore of fire, main goal will be the herophant then goes fast moving models then infantry. he is quite slow so i think i will manage to kill him before he comes to me

Take the Hierophant out and you will be amazed how fast his army goes down. My first game against TK, the Hierophant was part of a casket of souls. It was a nightmare! Every unit that could see it took damage. Once the Hierophant died, the next turn, his army started to literally crumble. It was over at that point.
