Hello there

Im preatty new to the Lizardmen still, hawe read to Lizardmen army book so i know some things about them buth still. I whas wondering if enyvan wode like to theik a look at my army list and perhaps tell me what i can change in it.

Hero
Saurus Scar-Veteran with shild and hand weapom

Core (3 units)
16 Sarus Warriors with comand groupe

12 Skinks Skirmishers with blowpipe

12 Skinks Skirmishers with javelins and shield

Special (2 units)
10 Tempel guard with comand groupe

8 Cold one Cavalry with comand groupe

So am i on the right whay or tottaly lost ?
 
You can remove the champions from your units...not really needed... (keep banner and mus)

However, javelin skink skirmishers aren't the best, you could make them into skink cohorts for an awesome flanking unit

How many points?
 
Point’s ofc new I had forgot something the total of my army is 1189

The Heo - 141

The 16 Sarus Warriors - 206

Skinks 90 and 102

Temple Guards 270

Cold Ones Cavalry 380
 
10 temple guard with command should come to like 195 though, not 270?
 
Dubo, the first thing to decide when putting together an army list is the total you are shooting for. Are you trying to build a 1000 pt army list? 1500 pt army list? 2250 pt? etc.

Once you have that, I think both you and we will be able to narrow it down quite a bit.
 
That's true Dumbledore. It might have been bad explaining from me but my temple guards and the Cold one rider both have magic standards and so on. In short words they all got all upgrades that they can have.

So if i do it a bit more clearly, my army list is the following:

Hero
Saurus Scar-Veteran with shield, light armor and hand weapon and magic item - 141

Core (3 units)
16 Saurus Warriors with command group - 206

12 Skinks Skirmishers with blowpipe - 90

12 Skinks Skirmishers with javelins and shield - 102

Special (2 units)
10 Temple guard with command group and magic items for champion and magic banner - 270

8 Cold one Cavalry with command group and magic banner - 380

In total this wode be 1189 points, I am looking for an army of about 1500 points.
Sorry if I have maid it unclear but hope this looks better.

its harder to help ya out if you type ''magic item'' instead of the items name and i see that your hero has no armour may i know why?
 
Reason to magic item is only there is cose I’m new and don't really know what to take.
The reason to way my hero has no armor is cose I forgot to write it town but he should haw
 
no offense but could you please check your grammer more some mistakes isn't realy annoying but what you type is hard to read. but maybe it's just me.
 
I have to ask about the 8 cold one riders? Is there a reason you picked this number? If you did it just because that is how many came in a box, you should reconsider.

If the unit is meant to hit units hard, only use a 6 man unit, 6 wide. If you have any more you are not likely to get them all into close combat at which point you are paying points for men in the back rank that serve no purpose.

Sashu Reason to my 8 cold ones are simply took 8 causes that are how many you got in the box in one box. But what you say sounds like you might haw a point there, I just newer thought of that. So thx for the advice I will keep it in mind.
