I'm just asking a few questions before I begin writing my first army list. Any help would be greatly appreciated Guys :).

1. Is it feasable to run a Lizardmen army with a large amount of focus on close combat? I've never really been a fan of magic.

2. Is it worth running a single Skink Priest as the only magic user in an army? Or would his points be better spent somewhere else? IE another close combat unit of some kind?

3. Is Tiktaq'To any use in an army which doesn't have any Terradon Riders in it?

Thanks in advance guys. I know some questions are nooby but I've been away from the game for many years

1. Totally viable :D It's one of the things Lizardmen are accually very good at. You can also combine combat prowess and magic by taking a Slann in Temple guard and a lot of saurus. Or you go with an Oldblood on Carnosaur or even a skink chief on a stegadon! Saurus warriors are the best core infantry, only second to Chaos warriors. I run a Carnosaur/cold ones/ saurus army.

2. Not as a magic user, but he can be an effective magic defense. with scrolls or a diadem of power.

3. Tiktaq'To is IMHO to expensive anyway... Try him if you want, but then i would definitely give him a unit of Terradons

hope that helped

tiktak... the terradon special character seems rather useless tbh. he doesn't have an impresive stat line, he costs a lot, he fills a hero spot and his special ability gives terradons a chance to be on any table edge by turn 2 while any deployed terradon can be anywhere for sure by turn 2

you could take a a skink priest as your only magic caster. I did that to.
I placed him on a ancient stegadon a good close combat beast and you can make your other units better with the skink priests magic.
