I wrote up a 3000 point list a couple days ago to use in some games with a few of my friends. So far, I've only been able to play one game with it so far, but it performed well. It was against vamp counts, and I killed everything he had while only losing one saurus unit and my skink priest.
I was just looking for some feedback on the list and some opinions.
Slann- BSB, Mystery, Rumination, Cupped Hands, Standard of Discipline
Oldblood- Light Armor, Cold One, Sword of Bloodshed, Crown of Command, Luckstone
Scar-vet- Light Armor, Cold One, Halberd, Dragonhelm, Potion of Speed,
Skink Priest- Level 2, Plaque of Tepok
30 Saurus- Full Command
30 Saurus- Full Command
2 x 12 Skink Cohorts
10 Skink Cohorts
26 Temple Guard- Full Command- Full Command, Banner of the Eternal Flame
2 Salamanders- 2 Extra Crew
2 Ancient Stegadons
In the only game I've played with this list, my magic was enough to get the spells off that I needed and to stop my opponents spells that I wanted to stop.
With the 3 groups of skinks, I was able to dictate his movement somewhat by getting in the way of his troops and redirecting his charges.
My combat was more than ample against everything he had except his big unit of grave guard. I softened it up with some magic and a saurus unit before I finished them off with a stegadon and my temple guard.
Any advice or comments on the list would be appreciated.
