8th Ed. a 2500 pt list

Heres a list I came up with the other night

For my lords:

Slann w/ 3 discipline, mystery(light or life not sure yet), Rumination and cogitation
cupped hands of the old ones
BSB, standard of discipline

Heroes:

Skink chief w/ steg, light armour, shield and the steg war spear

scar vet w/ light armour, shield, dawnstone, cold one, great weapon and venom of the firefly frog

Core:

Saurus x19 w/ full command and spears x2

10x skink skirmishers x3

Special :

16x TG w/ full command the champ has the the burning blade of chotec and the unit has the razor standard

7x cold one cavalry w/ musician and bearer who has the jaguar standard

Rare a unit of two sallies and a single sallie

so thats it please comment and all criticism is welcome
this is an army built from what I actually own

I would suggest....

Turn the saurus into a horde

Does the steg still come under 'special' even though it's a heroes mount? The armour save of a character or crew riding the stegs cannot be improved (nullifying your light armour and shield).

Scar vet using great weapon (2 handed) cannot use shield.

CoC with jaguar standard is really good idea......

Just a quick extra note as it's always interested me.....

Venom of the Firefly Frog turns mundane weapons poisoned. Does it affect something like a great weapon as this surely can't be mundane as it grants +2 strength (I think)..........

I understand where you're coming from Rettile, but the special rule states 'mundane'. Great Weapon alters the strength so it could be argued that this is not mundane, like an additional hand weapon could be.....
