just putting together a starter army and will mostly be going up against Tomb Kings with a Warsphinx. here is what I am thinking so far:
HEROES:
Skink Priest (Lore of Beasts)
CORE:
15 Saurus Warriors
12 Skink Cohort
12 Skink Cohort
SPECIAL:
Bastiladon (Ark of Sotek)
I could also alternatively swap out the two 12 model Cohorts for a 10 model one and a 10 model unit of Skirmishers. oh, and yes... I know that the Solar Engine would objectively be the better choice for the Bastiladon, but I just love the model and flavor of the Ark so much more.
I mainly see having a problem with the T8 Warsphinx (hence the Skinks and the Bastiladon for spamming it with poison, angry snakes and the occasional Thunderous Bludgeon). I'd love to throw some Chameleons in, but not getting any of the Shooting modifiers against Tomb Kings was enough for me to shy away from them.
