8th Ed. 500 point all plastic

Hi guys,

I am totally new to Lizards and relatively new to WHFB.
I want to build a fun, good looking 500 point army that wont necessarily be creamed every match I play.
I would also like pure plastic/finecast models only (not a fan of metal).
This is what i have come up with so far...let the flamming begin hehe

Skink Priest
19 Skinks
10 skink Skirmishers
Stegadon

That makes 465

I don't know what to do with left over points tbh - and I don't have much in way of tactics. just went for the models I liked the look of - and I like Skinks lol!

A different list which takes my fancy is:


Skink Priest
39 Skinks
11 Skink Skirm
11 Skink Skirm
11 Skink Skirm

Means i only have to buy 3 boxes of Skinks in total!
It works out at 491 points so I have 9 points left to pimp up the priest, What do you guys think?

I think I prefer this list to the 1st one (I love the skink models), is it slightly viable for gaming?
Where would you recommend I stick the 9 free points?

Well at the moment list one is illegal. Your army can only consist of special units up to 25 percent. Your stegadon is way over that.

Special is up to 50%
Rare is up to 25%

masses of blowpipes... plenty of magic... chameleon if they bring a seige weapon.. salamander for some extra omph.
