So this is now apparently A Thing, how do you see it affecting your lists? Will thw double Slann make a return? Wandering Deliberations and Light seems good for S5 banishment, but Death was always popular. Slann with 2-3 Oldbloods? High Magic could be powerful with Walk Between Worlds on a bus. Literally all the Scar Veterans?

Kitted OB and medium slann, instead of basic slann and OB.
Maybe dual OB and slann and drop the scar-vet.

Or why not... 12 chiefs on terradons and a game of tags

Some things that are theoretically possible now...

- Multiple Skroxigor units where the front row is all skink chiefs.
- Horde of saurus where the front row is all scar-vets
- 2 cold one buses in the same list
- 4 carnosaurs in a single list
- 8 stegadons in a single list
- approximately a million skink chiefs on rippers

I would be tossing and turning between:
Dense OB and Scar-vet cold one 'bulldozer'

Character-monster mash list - for all those juicy thunderstomps and better target saturation
for less of this

I actually made a all scar-vet list on a whim in a casual game with a friend. It was an incredibly potent. I ran three COR 3 wide with all scar vets up front and they just plowed through anything that was put in front of them. I destroyed a steam tank in one turn on the charge and converged on a 50 man unit of halberds with two in the front and on in the flank and the unit would have just evaporated without hold the line. He had 6 rank and file left... Definitely something I may try again.

Guess my real question is ....................is this going to be tournament legal ?

It's not clear yet. The book makes it obvious these rules are in affect for all games, but tournament organizers have a tendency to make up their own rules and create their own standards. They may yet reject it, especially because it allows someone to field 2 nurgle daemon princes.

Personally, I hope the tournament scene backs it. It's an enormous buff to lizards, since it lets us take a battle-slann plus 2 fully kitted oldbloods. That list can kill two daemon princes and a horde of trolls without even blinking.

This probably doesn't belong here but I have found reference to ALL Wizards will be able to use the Undeath Black and White on the GW site. know there is a discussion some where on one of the forum threads but I lost it.
