I don't really think it is considering its 3000 points and you don't have an anvil unit your slann is going to get hunted down and murdered since he doesnt have a unit to sit in. at 3000 points why not take a large unit of temple guard ? get rid of some skinks and since Kroq-gar lets you take one unit of CoC as a core choice you can keep them all and use them to take out support units and of course to charge in the rear and flanks of whatever charges your temple guard while the skinks harass everything.

One stegadon in a 3000 point game is far from cheesy. Try 7 instead
