AoS 2K Saurus List for Gotrek&Realmshaper strat

Hello, i posted yesterday a threat in which i discussed a strategy to move Gotrek 20"in two turns after which he could still charge an enemy with the help of the Realmshaper Engine. It boils down to the fact he can garrison it like any other unit can and because of its size gets a massive threat range increase. I also tried building a list to support my strategy with Koatl's Claw Saurus Knights.

when you garrison a unit it is removed from the battlefield. I don't think any TO will allow you to do this. also the fact you need to put out realmshaper before sides are decided that adds to the gambit. if you are going to blow 520 points on a model at least dread saurian counts as Seraphon and could get some buffs.

the Realmshaper is placed in the No Mans Land in the middle, so sides don't matter, and Garrisoning a unit isn't an ability it's a core rule, so Gotrek should be allowed to be set up again on the field. the Dread Saurian is a dope model, but he costs like 4 times as much as Gotrek and weighs over 2 kg
 
Yeah I saw your other thread, I don't think any TO will take your side on the matter. maybe send whoever organizes your local tournaments what they think on the matter. It would be a shame to go through all of this effort to have a TO called on you and be told you cant do what you want to with this list.

well, one person on the other threat said that the guy who runs Swedish Masters agrees. And it basically comes down to the distinction between rules and abilities. Maybe in 3.0 it will be cleared up

Yeah I saw that too, it does come down to the TO running the event. just check before you bring the list or you could be setting your self up for an unfun time.
 
What do you think of that list with 2 T-Rex ans Gotrek in v2 ?
I will face off Lumineth (with Teclis) and Tzeench (with Kairos)

I goal is to have multiple thread to force the ennemy to choose, anyway his choice when I will close thé distance I will start to have some fun aha
