I am thinking about dropping 1 unit of skink skirmishers and adding a salamander, would that be worth it?

I wouldn't drop skink skirmishers.

Your Slann is a bit expensive to my taste but I understand you are playing a tournament list and that your are visibly worried about shooting taking down your TG unit.

About your Scar-Vet, I'm a big fan of giving them ASF or I10 weapons so they can perform well in challenges.

Your list looks fairly standard and should perform well.
