8th Ed. 2500 pt Shopping List

So I recently started collecting lizardmen and since christmas is coming up soon I'm making a list for purchases after collecting that wonderful christmas money. My local store does 2500 pts for most friendlies, so this will be the list I play most.

Slann Mage-Priest
Cupped Hands of the Old Ones, Focus of Mystery (Light), Higher State of Consciousness, The Becalming Cogitation, The Focused Rumination
BSB Standard of Discipline

Saurus Scar Veteran
Charmed Shield, Hand Weapon, Light Armour, Piranha Blade, Venom of the Firefly Frog

Couple of comments since you are new...

-Your Slann will be in the TG unit so higher state of consciousness is a wasted 50 pts; take it out.

-Venom of the firefly frog does not work with magic weapons so is wasted on your piranha equipped scar vet; take it out.

-stalkers are rather useless for the point for your chams, keep it a full regular unit.

-dragonfly of quicksilver is not worth it and the razor standard is not worth it's points, take them both out.

The rest of the list looks usable. But you take those couple things out I listed above and you can afford some other stuff. I would suggest seeing if you can squeeze out some more points and get another 2x salamander unit. Those guys are worth their weight in gold.
