I managed to play (finally) my 14 year old son over two nights this week. I'll post a report later this evening (UK time) but thought I'd take time to post the lists here:

I won't give any away any spoilers yet, but any comments on the Lizardmen list, or guesses as to how it went?

Well.. the dark elves list did not look that frightening so my guess is thst you won. 15-5 perhaps? You should buy your son some warlocks, bolt throwers, a peg for his master and stuff

I just want to point out that your Slann build is illegal. It cannot have both a Dispel Scroll and Channeling Staff

Minigiant - Have to ask why not? As a noob, I'm not sure of these things, I thought that it was fine as within the points for magic items.

Sunchax, oh he's got some of those, he just wanted to use a list with the big characters in it.

Yes, I won, but not 15 - 5.

In the past when he's used things like bolt throwers, warlocks etc, he's usually won. Prior to this game I think the scores were about 4 - 2 to him. My two prior wins coming when he'd only just got some DE and was getting used to them so don't really count!

Other than those, the Dark Elves have gone home with new snakeskin shoes etc!

You are not allowed 2 arcane items. You have to pick Dispel scroll or channeling staff. Personally i would drop the cube from the skink and move the scroll there

OK. Thanks. I'll have to remember that.

Thankfully it didn't matter in the game - While I did use the Cube, I rolled a 1 so it was ineffectual.

Just to elaborate, you can only take 1 of each type of magic item (Weapon, Armor, Talisman, Arcane Item, Enchanted Item). It's a rule from the very beginning of the Magic Items page in the BRB.

So, just like you can't take the Channeling Staff and Dispel Scroll, you also can't take Armor of Destiny and Charmed Shield or Dawnstone and Dragonbane Gem.
