8th Ed. 2500 point casual list

Hey folks! I've been playing WFB for 6-ish months now and recently started playing Lizards (4-5 games so far). I've played this list once against my room mate who plays TK and LOVED it.

Slann General (Light) w/20 Temple Guard; Full Command, Plaque of Dominion, Becalming Cogitation, Focus of Mystery, Focused Rumination, Cube of Darkness

2 x 24 Spear-o-saurs; Full Command

2 x 6 Chameleon Skinks

Salamanders (2 in a single unit with 6 handlers)

Ancient Stegadon

Skink Chief (BSB) on an Ancient Stegadon; Talisman of Preservation, Iron Curse Icon (to protect the rest of the crew and beastie)

I had enough deploys to make me comfortable and solid physical presence on the field. Against almost any other army i'd run life but vs. Nehekaran/Death I feel Light is an auto take.

What do you guys think?

Could you be a bit more specific on points? I feel like its not even near to 2,5k points.

Also, I would take 9 chams, that way your opponent has to kill 3 of them to make them run

i may be wrong here but i am pretty sure that the model that takes a magic banner can not have other magic items

also at that small of a unit id run the saurus with hand weapons and sheilds. you get enough attacks as is and you get a 6+ ward save and save 48 points i think it was!

i also agree that this feels like nothing close to 2500 points

This makes absolutely no sense. The stegadon gains no benefit from being a BSB, while losing the BSB potentially loses you the game (TG fail a leadership 9 test).
