I need some help with this list for an upcoming tournament.

Do I need more charmeleons and saurus? And if thats the case, what should I throw away?

Many people tend to skip the EoTG now but with al the and around I prefer the protection.

What say you?

Trade the terries for more chameleon skinks. I haven't been impressed with terries at all this edition, but CS are freaking all-stars in my lists. If you did that could could trade in the 10 man skirmisher unit for another rank of spear saurus.

As far as EOTG goes, that protection only lasts for about two turns before everyone is into close combat. Cannons are pure death to your priest with the changes to templates, and you can't even charge into the flank of a unit with a character without getting challenged. All in all, it's become a very expensive support unit that's not very good at supporting anymore. I think in the long run you'd be better off dropping the engine and using the points to buy more troops.

I've traded mine in for a solo priest scroll or cube caddy and an ancient steg and I've never regretted it. Heavens suffers from high cost and underwhelming power, so I've been considering dropping my priest down to a lvl 1 just to toss off the occasional signature spell. YMMV
