I would make the slann the general as well. If you have the points (give him the banner of discipline). It's only 15 points and makes the TG ld10 re-rollable. As for the discipline, you should take rumination. That free power die is much better than knowing all the lore. You could even go with plaque of tepok (dropping the banner of discipline) to get 5 spells.

I believe that would be right at 300 pts for the slann (not 100% sure, no book at work).

slann with bsb is 300, so no dice for the plaque or a banner. i agree with the rumination though, free power dice > loremaster. i like the first list better considering what your opponent is bringing. for me id drop one of the scar vets and probably the temple guard in favor of some more chameleons and some sallies. 3 blocks of saurus should do a great job in h2h and the sallies will thin out any hordes as they march across the field.

your right. i was probably thinking 1200 pts, not 2400
