I like list 1 better in general, you might want to talk to your teammate first though to see if you can plan a strategy together. Also check out the tourney rules and make sure that you and your ally each gain seperate winds of magic dice, otherwise you have too much invested in magic.

Only suggestion I have is to give your BSB a greatweapon, with that armor he should survive a round to two. Also I would drop a few javelin teams for blowgun skirmishers, I get more mileage out of them.

Lastly be careful with that EOTG, if it is the only monster on the field in a 4800 point game, hope that neither of your opponents have cannons otherwise it is toast.

About your list. I like the first one. I was wondering though, as a slann must go in a temple guard unit, do they both have to go in that single unit?

I was once in the javelin camp but now I'm firmly with the blowpipes, saves you 30 points and they'll do more damage.

In the first list I can see no reason not to give the BSB to your general life slann.
Then you can kit out the SV less defensive.

javalins do more damage for me

and because i cant get teh slann in than =) go over the lord choice

Yeah just added up your points, 600 to spend on lords in 2400 means only 50 spare points between them.
