8th Ed. 2400 Semi-friendly

Hey everyone. I've been playing lizards for quite a while, but haven't been able to play much from our 8th ed book because of college and stuff. I'll be playing some friendly games in a few days and wanted to try out this list. I haven't tried razordons yet, so I'd like to have a unit of those.

Slann Mage-Priest: Battle Standard Bearer; Focus of Mystery; Soul of Stone; Harmonic Convergence; Reservoir of Eldritch Energy; Channelling Staff; Ruby Ring of Ruin; Lore of High Magic.

Saurus Scar-Veteran: Gambler's Armour; Cold One; great weapon.

I can't really judge, as I haven't played in a long time either, but it looks like a solid 8th ed list, similar to most you see flying around. But why this big blob of skins without hitting power at all?
