8th Ed. 2400 list, would like tips

ive play tested the list against an ogre army and won with no magic to aid me, other than the bastiladon solar beam , so i have to say so far so good , but advice never hurts and would like to hear some opinions

Your Scar veterans are naked.

I suggest you give them at least a 1+ armour save or some ward. Also cannons will destroy them.

Equip one with a Dragon helm (also nice protection against lore of metal) and the other one with a charmed shield for a cannon protection you will not be able to use it in combat but for 5 points it will absord the first hit you take agaisnt missle weapons.

If you can spare the points you can beef up the veterans a bit more :
