8th Ed. 2400 list vs woc

i have a game with my buddy this weekend and was wondering if you guys could help me come up with a solid 2400 pt list everything helps as i'm still pretty new to the game

You definitely have to take salamanders. In a 2400 pt game I'd say two Packs of two (no snack needed).

If it's a magic heavy opponent I would take lore of light. Throw the net spell on one wizard and use becalming cogitation on another. All of the buff spells are great for LM and you get a chance to use attribute on daemons.
