8th Ed. 2250 Tournement list

Hi im a bit new to playing WHFB and have only about 10 matches beheind me. Most have been small 500 point battles that i won easily (except against Imperials, those war machines are far too cheap!) and now i am getting ready to go to a tournement in a 2 monthes and i want to get my list ready so i can play with it a bit for practice. Tournement rues are no special characters, no proxies (so i cant play camo skinks with my normal etc.), and no Cupped Hands. Other than that everything is free game. So here is my first draft of my list. Critisism is greatly appreciated.

I would give your scar vet a great weapon instead of fencer blades and no enchanted shield. Other than that it looks solid.

fencers blades consists of 2 weapons. hence you cant use it together with an enchanted shield. try a dragonhelm instead, or better yet, as suggested, use a great weapon

the slann is a wizard, and wont be able to cast any spells if you give him shield of the mirrored pool... there are probably better choices for him

third, i have tried cold ones, but i have had little success with them. i would exchange them for a stegadon and maybe something else.

how do you intend to deploy the skink/kroxigors? as a horde? i much prefer to use them as small flanking units, since point for point they are inferior to saurus in a straight up fight. some ppl swear by the usefulness of SKrox but in any given fight, the same point value of saurus would have done better. the advantage of the SKrox is their movement and that is easily destroyed if you use them in too big units.

haha it´s so easy to see if a player have been playing 40k, they say battle force intstead of battalion, imperial instead of empire, squads instead of units and so on.

I think the saurus units could be a litttle bigger, perhaps 20 for this list.
try lore of life for your slann, keep those numbers up!
othervise it looks ok i think.
