8th Ed. 2250... Strange number, no?

Hi All,
I know in advance of a tournament i'll be going to over easter next year (wayyy in advance), and it's for the super-odd point limit of 2250. Odd?
In any case, i'm looking at lists to start working with so I can decide what i need to build, convert and paint (looking to be a showcase standard if i can) with enough time for me to actually get the work done. And Christmas is coming up which will be busy in itself!

EDIT: I'm not sure what the comp will be. Last year it was panel comp.

The event is using the errata'd 50% rules and this is my first draft which i'm hoping to trial soon, depending on what my good friends at L-O think of it

I think you should put sharpened horns on the steg for the d3 wound impact hits. theyre imho one of the best ways to deal with monsters and monstrous infantry before they can swing.
