Hey all, after repeatedly getting my arse kicked by our local VC player I've decided to build a army list just to combat him. Unfortunately I don't have all the model's i'd like to use so here's my 2250 Points list. I'd like some comments and suggestions.
365 Points - Slann, Becalming Cognition, Focus of Rumination, Plaque of Tepok, BSB
291 Points - 16 Templeguard with full command
160 Points - Scar veteran, Sword of battle, Sword of Maiming, Cold one Mount
153 Points - Scar veteran, Sword of Might, Enchanted Shield Cold one Mount
415 Points - Stegadon, Lvl 3 Priest, Diadem of Power
250 Points - 20 Saurus full command
250 Points - 20 Saurus full command
70 Points - 10 Skinks
105 Points - 10 Skinks + Kroxigor
5 Cold One Cavalry with a standard bearer
6 power dice
6 Dispel Dice + 2 From Cube
The basic idea is to get a large number of Fear Immune units (6) so that I won't be bothered by his fear affects. The second thing was to have some Combat res generating saurus warriors in my big blocks of infantry. Here comes the question though. What lore of magic can I use ? I've been using light for Cleansing flare - but he's wized up and saves most of his dice for that spell. What else can I use ? I was thinking of Fire - But I'm normally stuck in by the 3de turn rendering magic missile spells near useless. Any ideas ?
