8th Ed. 2200 Point Tournament

Hey I will be playing in a 2200 point tournament this weekend. No special characters allowed. Here is my list.

Lord
Slann
dispel scroll, mystery(Life), rumination, cogation (I might fit in cupped hands instead of the dispel scroll, but I normally don't roll miscasts and I'll hopefully have throne of vines on), battle standard

Heroes
Scar Vet
Gold Sigil sword, charmed shield, tailsman of endurance, Light armor
skink chief
terradon, light armor, shield, staff of the lost sun

Core
2x20 SW with Full command
1x10 skink skirmishers with brave

Special
1x15TG with full command
Razor Standard(I might put this with Slann)

3x terradons

Rare
Ancient Stegadon
3xsallies with extra handlers (split into two groups?)

My plan is to more or less turtle advance up the board. I will have the stegadon on one flank with the sallies and skinks on the other. The terradons will do their harassing and warmachine hunting. There might be an Empire/dwarf player there. I do know that there will be a cheesy demon army. My scar vet will go with my TG. If there are a lot of warmachines then my chief will split off but otherwise will stick with the other terradons. Let me know what you think!

The only terradon in your list is the chief. You could use some chameleons as well. Since you have terradon (I assume at least 3), one unit of chameleons would be ok, two would be much better. If you take a dispel scroll, you cannot take cupped hands (but as you mentioned you are hoping to have throne of vines up).

I forgot to add the terradons onto the list. I would replace the dispel scroll with cupped hands. I unfortunately don't have any chameleons yet otherwise they would be in there.

I always take the standard of discipline for the slann. That way he is ldr 10 stubborn rerollable. If you are going to take the razor standard, put it in the TG.
