8th Ed. 2000pts Tournament List

Hi Guys, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster and I was hoping to get some advise on a list for a local upcoming tournament. I havn't been playing lizards long and don't have much flexibility in the way of models but any help would be much appreciated!!

The tournament has random, custom scenarios to "avoid power gaming". Deployment is set up using the rules for battle line, meeting engagement or dawn attack (role off to determine which). The scenarios are about claiming objectives (must be a unit with 5 or more models to claim), getting into the enemies deployment zone or killing a "turncoat unit" (opponent gets one of your units and you get one of his).

I honestly would drop the Skink cohorts for another unit of Skirmishers, and maybe just use the rest of the point for magic items or buff another unit with the 30 points.

Kohors are good when you use Shadow, or have Kroxigors with them
